I am looking for some pickling cucumbers. Do you grow them? If so, when do they come into season?
Pickling cucumbers are ready in July!
Have you ever considered adding spinach, at least early in the season? It would sure start off the summer with a bang?
We have overwintered spinach in the ground right now! also some in the greenhouses that should be ready soon!
yes! we will have that available
soon!
I just joined for Spring and am very excited. I”ve never done anything like this before, so could you tell me what I’ll be likely getting in my first delivery?
right now there are potatoes, onions, celery, carrots, zucchini, cabbage, Brussels, pinto beans, sweet potatoes, greenhouse tomatoes, lettuce mixed greens and grilling onions. there are also add ons like eggs, Texas citrus, storage apples, local tortillas, Miller Farms salsa and jellies and beef we raise on our farm!
You have Texas Citrus? Would you tell me more about that?
we do, grapefruit that was luckily harvested … it looks super difficult this year for those amazing farmers
I had a farm-to-doorstep order and delivery this week. The first since one last fall. OMG the brussels spouts are fantastic!!! I mean, who raves about brussels sprouts?😊 Wish I had ordered more! So tempted to order a quarter share summer CSA, but worried I can’t get through a weekly order before the next one. Is it too much for a single person? Are all CSA products offered to farm-to-doorstep orders?
One awesome thing about our CSA is that you never lose out on your weeks, so if you need to skip some we deliver all year so you can make up for that at anytime! Our CSA products are all offered with free farm to doorstep delivery as well.
A quarter share is a good amount for a single person, and you get to pick out all the veggies you would like so you don’t end up having a lot of extra veggies unless you choose to. Only the items you like to eat (or you can choose Miller farms choice if you want to order a variety and choose something you normally would not)
You can always order farm to doorstep at your leisure as well, no commitments 🙂
Have a great day!
Is there a list of produce/dairy/beef/jelly – or whatever is available with prices? I looked around on the website but could not find anything.
i made a new blog post check out that for what is available as of today!
you can call the farm, if this is for the summer CSA you will receive a letter in May
