Come on out to Miller Farms for a great day of fun!
Spring is officially here! Not that that means much for Colorado, but it’s here! We are busy planting, fixing, planting some more. The ground might thaw out one of these days and we might be able to almost get potatoes in the ground. Other vegetables will soon follow. Boulder and Longmont farmers markets have begun!
We will have a few things to sell at the market. Come out and Support local! Hopefully the sun will be out! They’re asking what sustains you. The answer to that is our customers. We would not be here without your support every spring, summer, and fall. We love what we do, and our customers allow us to continue to provide affordable food along the Front Range.
CSA shares are filling up! Be sure to sign up for yours today and secure your spot! We have half and full shares available! Visit Millerfarms.net for details or email us firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have! $450 on a half share and $750 for a full share! 20 weeks’ worth of vegetables!
We have new beef and pork available for delivery on Monday and Friday with minimum $40 order. All raised by us and fed a healthy diet. No hormones or antibiotics ever!
The new season will be here before we know it! We will be starting in the Greenhouse in the next couple of weeks. To returning CSA members and those who wish to be a part of our CSA family this year, we will have a new signup sheet coming soon. We are in the process of planning which markets we will be attending this year. Please be patient! If you do not know about our CSA, you are in for a real treat as others can tell you!
CSA is a community supported Agriculture. When you buy a share, you help us prepare for the year. Seeds, fertilizer, dirt. All the things we need to get the year going. In return, you receive 20 weeks’ worth of vegetables. Plus, 2 passes to come to the farm in the fall and pick your own vegetables! Payments can be made from sign up until June 15 when the CSA officially begins! It must be paid in full before you will be allowed to pick up. Prices remain the same this year. $450 for a half share and $750 for a full share.
We will mail out CSA letters to those paid in full sometime in May. That letter is your ticket each week. Bring it with you and one of our wonderful people will mark off that week. Simple as that!
When picking up, we will provide the basket and you bring it with you each week and PICK OUT YOUR OWN VEGGIES! We do not pre-package anything! Walk through, pick out what you want and that is it! If you are a canner or a freezer or have extra company, you can double up at any time. First week to the last. While some things go all year, some crops are seasonal. You will go home with a weeks’ worth of food and be supporting local agriculture all season!
The fall festival is our biggest event of the year. We invite you to come out and spend a day with your family. Pick your own vegetables and play in the dirt, watch the chickens and ducks! As always we invite you to come to the farm anytime. Our play area is always open! Feel free to contact us with any questions!

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED AT THE FARM?
We accept all forms of payments including cash, checks, SNAP benefits, and all major credit cards to include American Express and Discover cards.
HOW DO YOU GROW YOUR PRODUCE?
We grow our produce using no pesticides. We use compost and nitrogen for fertilizer. We grow many of our crops using plastic mulch, drip irrigation, and pivot sprinklers to conserve water.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT COMING TO HARVEST?
Please keep in mind that this is a real working farm. When you’re coming here for the Fall Harvest Festival, please dress accordingly. A good pair of shoes is a must. A hat is always nice and a decent pair of gloves helps as well.
DO YOU HAVE FOOD AND DRINKS?
During our Fall Festival, we have several different types of food for sale. Water and cold drinks are available as well, but you are always welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We have plenty of picnic tables for you to eat at and relax.
WHAT DOES MY ADMISSION FEE INCLUDE?
Your admission fee includes one trip per person to our fields to pick up to 5 bags of fresh produce per person. We supply the bags. All other activities like the corn maze and huge playground complex are included in the cost of your admission! Most farms charge an admission price and then charge an additional fee to do each activity. Your one time admission here at Miller Farms includes the produce you pick and ALL other activities!!
WHAT PRODUCE WILL I GET TO PICK WHEN I COME TO HARVEST?
Each time you come to harvest you can expect to be harvesting different types of produce. We rotate what we pick each day so that not any one crop will be depleted right away. Crops also vary from season to season and year to year. You can be certain that you’re going to get a great deal for your admission price!
WHEN ARE PUMPKINS READY?
Once the pumpkins are ripe for picking, each person is allowed to pick ONE pumpkin from the fields if they so desire. The pumpkins up front by the house and sales shed are for sale and are not included in the cost of your admission. Ask one of our staff about our GREAT wagon sale!
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?
We have hundreds of wonderful and cool photo opportunities. PLEASE BRING YOUR CAMERAS! Also, we love getting photos from our customers via email, so feel free to send us yours! We will try and get these posted to our web site!
We are typically open during any weather, but please use your own judgment when coming to harvest in poor weather. We do have a very sandy soil here that dries out quickly.
We grow many varieties of vegetables and are constantly adding new kinds. A combination of sandy soil, sunny days and cool nights gives them the most amazing taste. Try our award winning onions, or our famous Peaches and Cream corn, or the best tasting potatoes in the world. We carry Red, White, Blue, and Yukon Gold.
And, don’t forget Millers’ famous watermelons… you’ll wish these were in season all year long!
With our CSA Membership options, you’ll be eating healthy all season!
